Do I need a referral?
A referral isn’t necessary for most cases, but check with your insurance provider for your particular situation. We are a preferred provider of most insurance carriers and our staff will work with your insurance company to simplify your care. We also participate in workers’ compensation. What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, and appropriate shoes and clothing. If you would like to fill out our intake paperwork early, please read our Notice of Privacy Practice, and complete and sign the following HIPAA Privacy Authorization and Acknowledgment, Patient Collection Policy, and Patient Information forms.
What should I wear to my appointments?
It’s best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. If the treatment will be primarily focused
on your lower back or lower extremities, shorts are recommended. T-shirts are recommended for neck and upper extremeties.
Is there a changing room available?
A changing room and shower are provided for your convenience.
How long will my visit take?
Expect to spend about an hour on your initial visit. Follow-up visits will vary depending on your
plan of care.
Do I really need to do the exercises you recommend between appointments?
You only have to do them if you want to get better. The more strengthening and conditioning you do
now, the faster your body is able to heal and the sooner you will be able to reach your goals.
When will the pain go away?
Unfortunately, there’s no magic answer to this question. The severity of your injury and the progress of your rehabilitation determine your outcome.
We continually modify your exercises and training program in accordance to how you are advancing.
As we like to remind our patients, you have the option of either having a little pain now, or a lot of pain in the future.
